I have sorted out the detour with Bike the US for MS.  I will still be cycling the Atlantic Coast during the same days as originally planned.  The difference now is that I will be riding self-supported.  The only assistance I will be receiving from Bike the US for MS will be maps and recommended locations for overnight camping.  I know that I can do it self-supported since I completed the Pacific Coast five years ago.  The only difference is I had planned to camp then, but never did.  This time I do plan to camp.  We will see how that goes.

So I am on for departure on April 20, 2023 from Florida heading north to Maine.

Sadly, I will not be riding the Atlantic Coast with the Bike the US for MS group in April 2023.  Their COVID policy require certain things that do not align with my thinking.  So I have removed myself from their platform.  Please stay tuned for updates as I determine if I will continue to prepare as a self supported ride.  It will be a big change, but I can do it.

Thank you to those who donated.  I have asked if those donations can be returned, but have been told they are non-refundable.  They offered to defer them to a 2024 ride, but I am not sure yet how to handle that.

I have some thinking to do....
